London - Stockholm
Its now possible to se (and buy) my works in London!! In gallery DESIGN CENTRE KNIGHTSBRIDGE near Hyde park. I was choosen to participate in ISLAND KULTUR exhibition at the Stockholms Auktionsverk, along with other icelandic artist and designers.
Mrs. Vigdís Finnbogadóttir, the fromer President of Iceland, will officially open the exhibition. The exhibition will feature around 145 works by 41 of the well know artists and designeres from Iceland. www.autionsverket.se

In this exhibition I deal with the idea of a persons contact and 
exposure to an alien society an exotic culture.  The works are a 
result of my journey to Japan where I spent tree moths at the 
Shigaraki ceramic Cultural Park.  I work with porcelain and stoneware 
trying to capture  the essence of the moment one enters  a foreign

Punctum Punctum
This spring Pétur B. Lúthersson interior architect has invited me to exhibit my tableware, PUNCTUM PUNCTUM, with his quality furniture at the art and crafts center in Reykjavík.

Paris - Washington - Japan
I will take part in an exhibition in Gallery Via in Paris from 1st of april – may 29th along with other icelandic designers. This exhibition is selected by Steinunn Sigurðardóttir and Páll Hjaltason.

I was also choosen to paticipate in the exhibition Nordic Cool in Washington that will be held in National Musemu of Women in the Arts. In this exhibiton was selected, from the nordic countries, women that have designed interesting objects.

I am planing on staying in Japan for tree months this year at the Shigaraki Ceramic Culteral Park. There I will get an oppotunity to study japanise ceramik culture get influence and work in creative atmosphere. I will take part in an anniversary exhibition at Crafts and Design which will take part in Reykjavík and other selected places in Iceland.
